Cube 3D printer discussion / Re: New Filament Cartridge shows up as empty
« on: November 18, 2014, 04:16:24 pm »
I did leave the cartridge in the slot while testing the bulk filament. But the part was a tiny 20mm x 20mm cube.

It is saying that its completely empty, nothing left at all.

Thanks for the help Dan!

Cube 3D printer discussion / New Filament Cartridge shows up as empty

Really pissed at this freakin machine.

Left it for a long over night print just to find out in the morning that it aborted at about 90% of the way done.

Turns out the new legit neon green cartridge I bought at a Walmart is showing up as empty for some reason. I have opened it up and there is more that half of it still left in there. Plenty for at least another dozen prints.

Has this ever happened to anyone? This was only the third print that this cartridge had been used for.

Before this happened I tried to print a part with bulk filament while this cartridge was slid in. The print was tiny and consumed very little filament. Could this have caused this problem that has shown up now out of nowhere?

Is there a hack to trick the cartridge to register as a full one once again? Will it work on the 2.08 firmware?

Thanks so much.

Any updates on running this on the 2.08 firmware and the adjusting the printer head for thicker filaments?

How the hell is the levelling of the print pad done? Where the heck are knob bolt A and knob bolt B? The illustrations on the user guide are flat and useless. They donīt show where these dam bolts are exactly. Couldn't even find a simple video of how to do this. How can a company sell these things and not have a quick tutorial of how to do this online... Really pissed. Thanks for any help!
