I think I cannot start a topic, so I am writing here to share some experience.
Today my printer head got clogged. The reason was misaligned glass plate. I used thin wire that came with the printer to remove material then aligned the plate and started printing again. This time printed object corners did not stick well to the plate and resulted in warping (bending upwards). When the print head was laying material on these warped corners, it touched the object, could not lay the pla and the head got clogged again.
It is easy to understand if it is getting clogged or not. If it is, then it starts making a clicking sound. After some time it aborts printing. There is a nice tutorial here how to clean a clogged head; http://cubifyfans.blogspot.com.tr/2012/07/some-donts-with-cube.html
Unfortunately mine was also clogged in the lower tube. The head could not melt the residue and the thin wire could not push down the frozen PLA. I did not have the piano wire option. I came up with this: heat the end of the thin wire with cigarette lighter for a few seconds till it gets hot red, then immediately push it down the filament hole. It melts the material and you can either push it out of the nozzle or wait till it cools down and it gets stuck to the wire. Then pull back and clean the head. This way it is much safer and there is no risk to damage the nozzle.

Nice one! I've had that problem before and been forced to dismantle the entire extruder. I'll be sure to try this next time. I've moved this to a new topic. Not sure why you cant create a new one though. Just created a test user and it worked fine for me.
