Printbed hitting the nozzles

Has anyone had an issue with the printbed on their cube 3 hitting the nozzles?  I auto calibrated and it set the z-gap but after a print I noticed 2 dimples in the printbed which can only be the nozzles.

Problem kept getting worse and worse.  Eventually the nozzles were scraping little gouges in the print bed on the first layer.  Nothing I did fixed it, manual z-gap wouldn't fix it, setting a loose z-gap still wouldn't fix it.  Luckily for me, the ebay seller offered to exchange it for another new one.  Cost me $70 shipping but have another one still in the box waiting for me to have some time to get it up and running.
